D.C. Discovery Weekend allows students who wish to explore multiple Episcopal Summer Institute programs to stay on campus between sessions and enjoy all the fun and excitement that Washington, D.C. has to offer. Activities may include field trips to museums, local parks, recreation facilities, sporting events and performances, as well as time to relax on campus and take advantage of Episcopal High School's world class facilities.

Kathleen brings her passion for academics and making connections with her students to her tenure with the Episcopal Summer Institute. During the school year, she works to engage young learners to become partners in the process, so they understand the value of how the topics build into life experiences. She serves as a "rover" administrator in the residential community and has previously worked for George Washington University and the National Institutes of Health, where she conducted AIDS and cancer research.Enroll Now
