District Discovery Weekend

D.C. Discovery Weekend

For campers who wish to take full advantage of their time in Washington, we offer the District Discovery Weekend, a weekend add-on full of adventure in our nation's capital and beyond! The District Discovery Weekend allows students the option to explore the D.C. area via field trips to museums, historical sites, sporting events and more, all while enjoying the facilities and comforts of the Episcopal campus they have come to call home. This is the perfect end to an incredible experience with true D.C. insight and flair!

Planned Activities Include:

  • Day trips to the Pentagon, Kennedy Center, Smithsonian and iconic D.C. monuments
  • A ticket to the World Champion's Nationals Baseball game
  • Morning water sports at one of D.C.'s new waterfronts
  • Guided night monument tours
  • Fun family activities on the grounds of Episcopal High School like scavenger hunts, pool games, outdoor movies and brunch

The Photography Institute

The Photography Institute introduces students to the power and impact of photography and how it helps to shape and visualize the world around us. Through the use of Episcopal High School’s state-of-the-art facilities and experiential programming, students will develop their personal photography aesthetic and portfolio.
